Lego Workshop May 23

REMINDER  !!!

Lego workshop on Saturday May 23 at 10 A.M.  in the 4-H Building at the Farigrounds.

Come to play with Legos and to listen to new ideas.

Mini 4-Hers are welcome, as are Parents.

Also, I have a list of places at which to purchase Lego parts/kits.

However,  you are NOT allowed to exhibit kits at the fair.  We encourage you to think on your own.

I have been to these sites.  Some bricks are not Lego and may or may not work with Lego brand bricks.  Any interlocking brick is allowed in the project.

Please be aware of scams.  Parents should check out the sites.

Bricklink:  ww.bricklink.com  Ebay for LEGO search for and find specific parts/pieces to purchase from 3rd parties.  Website now owned by LEGO and should be genuine LEGO bricks.  These may be used or new (condition will be noted).  Sets and old construction books are available.

Brickowl:  www.brickowl.com another Ebay for LEGO website    Bricks may or may not be LEGO brand.  Pieces sold individually.  NOT owned by LEGO

Rebrickable:  wwwrebrickable.com    This site sells sets using bricks from a LEGO set to make a different type of set.  Individual pieces are also sold. Bricks may or may not be LEGO   Not owned by LEGO.

Official LEGO site go to www.Lego. com and choose bricks and pieces……….. from there you will choose a category and find thousands of bricks.  Generally speaking , pieces from here are more expensive.

Parents: please check out the sites and bricks your child is looking at and make decisions accordingly.

Beware of scams which are plentiful.  If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is.

Remember to include shipping in your order.  Some sites are international so, if there is a choice listed, be sure to mark U.S. Note that it may take four to five weeks for parts/pieces to arrive.
