Species Included in online animal ID: Beef (Including Dairy Feeder Steers), Dairy Cattle, Goat, Horse (Including Draft & Mini), Sheep, and Swine. Cats, Dogs, Pigeons, Poultry, and Rabbits will submit paperwork.
Members of these projects will be receiving information in the mail soon. That information is also available to download below. It is the responsibility of the 4-H families to enter the required information into the online system (or submit on paper if applicable) by May 15th. This deadline is strictly enforced with a zero-tolerance policy for lateness. Missing the deadline will result in not exhibiting at the county or state fair.
Animal ID Days – Dairy Feeder Steer, Goat, Sheep
For those who participate in an ID Day (members of Dairy Feeder Steer, Goat, & Sheep), you will receive a copy of the Indiana 4-H Livestock ID Worksheet – please complete the top of the worksheet and bring it with you (this form is also available to ). Your project volunteers will record the information gathered at ID day so that you can take the information home with you and enter the information into 4HOnline.)
- Dairy Feeder Steer ID Day: Sat., May 6th, 9:00-11:00 am at the Cattle Barn
- Goat ID Day: Fri., May 12th, 6:00-8:00 pm at Sheep/Goat Barn
- Sheep ID Day: Sat., April 29th, 8:00-10:00 am at the Sheep/Goat Barn
