Center Wildcats March Meeting Minutes

For the past several months, Center Wildcats 4-H club has been busy with community service activities. We made twenty lunch bags for meals on wheels, and we are in the process of making 225 more. We made 103 thinking of you cards for the residents of Brickyard Nursing Home. 300 bookmarks were made for the Valparaiso Library. In addition, we made six new pillowcases to Pediatrics at Northwest Health, and 14 frog pillows are ready to be delivered. 20 dozen snickerdoodle cookies were made for the hospice stroll and finally, as a club we donated 654 packages of food to the Hilltop House Food Pantry. We moved and seconded a motion to provide a scholarship for a student at Hilltop Nursery School for one week. Finally, we had a special guest speaker, Buzz Fifield, the superintendent of the leather project, come in this meeting to teach us about the project itself, and just some leather basics.
