NEW Meeting Night for 2021-22 – First Tuesdays – New Members Always Welcome!
In September we asked for your input on the meeting date. After reviewing the feedback, we’ve made the decision to change the night of our regular business meetings to the FIRST TUESDAY of each month at 6:00 p.m. Please mark your calendar now for the following dates. Please adjust your work, etc. schedules accordingly: December 7, 2021; January 4, 2022; February 1, 2022; March 1, 2022; April 5, 2022; May 3, 2022; June 7, 2022.

Election Info: Elections will be held at the December 7th meeting. Those wishing to run for office were asked to submit their self-nomination applications and campaign videos by November 19th. Those who submitted their information to be candidates in the election have been included in a candidate biography document that includes links to their campaign videos. PLEASE check out this info and watch their amazing videos! The candidate bio document will not be posted on the public blog site, but was sent via email.
Holiday Fun: Let’s celebrate the holiday season at our December meeting!
–Wear something festive! Wrap yourself in sparkly garland, wear a fun holiday sweater, dress up like a reindeer… anything festive works!
–The season of giving… helping animals in need… let’s help out the furry friends at the county animal shelter by donating items on their wish list. Things they need include: hand sanitizer, paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach, or specific food/snack items (see the website at https://www.portercountyanimalshelter.org/176/Wish-List for specifics).
–Gift exchange? If you would like to participate in a gift exchange with your fellow 4-Hers, bring a wrapped gift of approximately $5 in value.
–Snacks will be provided.
COVID Safety: As of the time of this news update, the current county COVID advisory level is ORANGE. When at orange, masks are required of EVERYONE at 4-H events and in county-owned facilities. Any updatese to the advisory level will be posted at https://portercounty4h.org/2021/11/17/covid-protocols-for-in-person-gatherings/.
Junior Leader Portfolio & Incentive Award Levels
As discussed at call-out in November, you’ll be most successful at achieving one of the award levels if you build on your JL Portfolio throughout the year. Copies were provided at the call-out and can also be downloaded on Google Drive at https://bit.ly/4HManuals. We will discuss more at each meeting to help keep you all on track to reach your junior leadership goals for the year!
Annual 4-H Enrollment
