The Liberty Sunsetters met on Sunday, April 18th at Sunset Hill Farm Park. The meeting called to order at 3pm, beginning with the American and 4-H pledges. Then, we went into the reports.
For the health and safety report, Julian Watkin discussed the importance of protecting ourselves from ticks. As far as new business, our Chipotle fundraiser is currently in the works. Be sure to check our Facebook page for more information. We are also participating in geranium sales. The deadline for orders is Friday, April 23rd by 4:30pm. Lastly, we voted on a time for our next club nature hike, which will be Sunday, April 25th at 10am, at Meadowbrook. After adjourning the meeting, we crafted place mats for local nursing home residents.
