The Liberty Sunsetters 4-H Club held their June Event on June 11 at Sunset Hill Farm Park at 3 pm. Members were reminded about important fair information including, Project Tag Pick Up – Thursday, July 13 – 8:30 to 4:30 at the 4-H Building Office and Building Watch – Tuesday, July 25 – 3:15 – 9:00 – members should look on Facebook page and email inbox to see schedule and to sign up for a shift. We discussed our upcoming hikes and splash pad meet-up events. The Splash Pad event is on Thursday, June 22 at 5:30 pm in Chesterton. The next hike is on Saturday, June 24, 10 am at Coffee Creek. Members were reminded to pay close attention to the Porter County 4-H Blog and Porter County 4-H on Facebook for important workshops, dates, and fair information. We wrapped up the meeting with a STEM project. Our next club event will be on Sunday, July 16 – 11 am at Zao Island. More information and signup information for Zao Island will be sent out via email and posted on the club’s Facebook page.
