Youth in 7th-12th grade will learn about their state government through a day full of civic engagement and leadership. Participants will tour the state house, meet representatives, and have the opportunity to serve as student pages.
- Tuesday, February 7, 2023 is the 2nd annual Indiana 4-H Day at the State House!
- Time: 8am EST to 4pm EST (approx.)
- Must be in grades 7-12 and registered in 4-H to attend.
- Price is $15 to attend. An additional $25 if the 4-H’er chooses to do the overnight program on Monday, February 6 at the state fairgrounds. – Porter County 4-H member registration fees will be sponsored by the county 4-H Council.
- 4HOnline registration will be used this year. It is now open. It will close on January 15.
- Program activities include a statehouse tour, meeting with representatives and learning how state government works.
- Attenees are encouraged to schedule meetings with local legislators.
