Anyone Interested in sewing Chemo Caps for Phil’s Friends Indiana Hope Center out of Crown Point may pick up kits on March 2 by Gate One at the Expo Center from 5:30-6:30 pm. South County residents or people that are unable to make March 2nd may arrange a porch pickup at my home in Kouts. Anyone that is interested may participate in this Community Service Project. Current enrollment in the project is not needed. There are two patterns available. One for sewing enthusiasts with less than two years experience, and one that is reversible and slightly more challenging. Please RSVP to Lara Werner with how many kits you will need. Caps should be completed on your own by March 30th and will be collected by Gate One between 5:30-6:30 pm. I hope that many take advantage of this opportunity to practice your sewing skills and brighten someone’s day.
