The Liberty Sunsetters met on Sunday, September 19th at Sunset Hill Farm. The meeting was called to order at 3pm, beginning with the American and 4-H pledges. We started the meeting with a community building activity, where members worked together to build a Solo cup tower. Julian Watkin gave the health and safety report along with the treasurer report.
Membership forms were sent out by email to be filled out as soon as possible and club dues of $10 per member is to be turned in. We discussed demonstrations for our November 21st meeting. Each member is to bring something to demonstrate, this will be done science fair style. Be thinking and planning what you will be doing. Then we discussed future nature hikes. Our next club hike will be Sunday, October 10th at 10am at Sunset Hill Park. Lastly, we made Fall pumpkin decorations to be hung up at a nursing home.
Next meeting will be Sunday, October 17th at 2pm at Sunset Hill Campground off 700 North. At the next meeting we are having a Halloween celebration with fun games, bon-fire with smores, and games to play with others. We adjourned the meeting and enjoyed a snack.
