Just a reminder that June 19th and 20th are our June Culver dates. This year’s program will be done at the Portage location from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm both days. There will be a calf provided by Bentley. Huge thank you for that. June is National Dairy month; Culver’s has always been wonderful at working with us to promote the Indiana dairy industry and Porter County 4-H Dairy. We have the calf available to the public to pet and touch and ask questions about. We also answer questions about the dairy industry in Indiana, in general, whether that be milking or beef. We ask our members to volunteer for a 2-hour shift either day to help be a part of this. If you participate, make sure you put it down on your 4-H record of achievement.
