Hello, and happy March! This email is to provide some basic information regarding the Porter Co. 4-H Forestry Project for this year.
We will be having a SHORT Intro to Forestry meeting on Wednesday, April 1st from 5:30-6:00 PM at the Valparaiso Public Library, Meeting Room A. The range of possibilities for topics in Forestry is huge. We will discuss possibilities for projects at the workshop to help kickstart your ideas. It will also be a good opportunity to ask questions, get information about project requirements, etc.
This is a GREAT time of year to start thinking about (and even completing) a Forestry project for this summer’s fair. There are a plethora of topics that can be done now while the weather is chilly, leaving you more time this summer to complete other projects!
