The winner of the Troy Haman Memorial 4-H Sheep 10-Year Member Award was Greta Pressel. Troy was involved for many years in the Sheep project and also served as Superintendent.
The winner of the Rhyann Sikora Memorial Scholarship was Jacob Kolan. Rhyann was an active Porter County 4-H member in the Swine project.
The winners of the Lisa Bloom Memorial Scholarship were Alivia Goetz and Kady Davison. This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Lisa Ann Bloom, daughter of Don and Carol Bloom. Lisa was a 10-year Porter County 4-H member, a 1995 graduate of Chesterton High School, and a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College. Lisa loved participating in the Porter County 4-H Beef project with her Angus cattle. As an active participant in the Beef Project, Lisa took advantage of every opportunity to get involved, learn, and help other 4-Hers. As a 4-H alumna, she continued her involvement with the Beef project; Lisa took great joy in being a mentor and helping beginning members learn about beef animals, fitting, and showmanship. Lisa passed away in August 2007 at the age of 30 and is greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
