The Kyle Gustafson Memorial 10-Year Member Award is presented to any 4-H’er who has completed 10 years of the Beef, Sheep, and/or Swine projects, with all 10 years being completed here in Porter County.
Kyle was a 10-year 4-H member who passed away on October 20th, 2008, at the young age of 25. Kyle loved everything about the fair. The livestock shows, the new friends he would make, and catching up with the ones he hadn’t talked to in awhile. This award is given in Kyle’s memory to 4-H’ers who participated in Kyle’s favorite 4-H projects: Beef, Sheep, & Swine.
