July 10, 2025 Center Wildcats 4-H Club Meeting Report
We’re all ramped up for the Fair! The Center Wildcats 4-H club meeting focused on answering questions about project materials, preparing exhibits and project check-in. The meeting also highlighted community service efforts, including the walk-a-thon and garage sale. Members practiced their public speaking skills by giving surprise speeches. There was also a demonstration given by Valparaiso University Engineering Professor Dan White about a weather balloon launch on July 12, 2025. Professor White encouraged members of the club to participate in the launch. The meeting handled some business, but the family potluck and water balloon volleyball were the most fun! The next club meeting will be held in October. We hope to see you at the Porter County Fair!
