Forestry Workshop

The 4-H Forestry workshop will be held at Gabis Arboretum on June 14th at 1PM. The admission fee is waived for families participating in the workshop. When families arrive at the gate, use the intercom and tell the staff member who answers that they are here for the 4-H workshop, and the gate will be opened for them. We will meet at the first parking lot and go on a short (less than 1 mile) walk through one of the woodland habitats at the arboretum. Please wear shoes good for walking and possible wet conditions! An adult family member MUST go on the hike with their student. Come prepared with questions! I’ll be available afterwards to answer any additional questions that aren’t covered during the hike or to go on an additional hike in a different type of forest habitat at the arboretum.
