FairEntry for All 4-H Members- Due June 25

FairEntry is now open for all K-12 Porter County 4-H members. Members’ exhibits must be entered by June 25th!

How Do You Complete the FairEntry Process? A step-by-step guide on the FairEntry process is available on this page and includes a listing of all our projects that guides you to the correct Departments/Divisions in FairEntry.

What is FairEntry?  FairEntry is an online site that works along with 4HOnline to help volunteers and staff prepare for and manage exhibits and animal project shows at the fair.

  • Static project exhibitors will specify what they intend to bring to the fair for exhibit. The information members enter generates exhibit tags, and creates the database used for managing judging, results, State Fair entries, and more.
  • Animal project exhibitors will specify which of their animals will be exhibited at the fair; during the FairEntry process family members will need to specify which 4-Her will be showing which animal, and those decisions will become final on June 25th. The info members enter helps superintendents make pen assignments, aids our show data team in show set-up and results management, and assists the Celebration Sale committee in putting on an amazing auction for livestock members.

Animal project members– please see below for all the information to complete livestock FairEntry. We will also email and mail this information. (We have been having trouble with mail getting to our members- Please refer to the blog or email that you receive since we are finding that the postal mail has not been reliable.) All components of that mailing are also available for download below.

**Important note for the following species**

Swine– Do not sign up in FairEntry for Swine Showmanship. You will enroll with the day of check in at the Fair.

Dairy & Goats– When signing up for additional classes such as herd classes and daughter/dam classes please put the entry in once. We understand that there are multiple animals shown in those classes but we need only one entry into that class to show that you’re going to be participating.  As far as animal selection goes just select one of the animals that would fall into that class and choose one to fulfill that spot.
