Sewing Project Members

With the closing of Joann Fabrics, I wanted to share some resources for fabric and patterns for anyone that anticipates having difficulty finding materials for their project.  Walmart and Hobby Lobby have a small inventory of fabric in their stores.  Yoder Department Store in Shipshewana does sell fabric and patterns as well, although it seems to be catering more to quilters.  I have compiled a list of online fabric and patterns sites that I have discovered.  I have found that I can get really good quality material online. I would invite any of you to share if you know of another good fabric store locally or online as well!

I also wanted to remind you that there will be a Sewing Workshop at the Valparaiso Public Library on April 5 from 9:30-11.  This will be a question and answer opportunity with a previous sewing construction judge.  Please let me know if you are able to attend this workshop by Friday, March 28.  I may cancel the workshop if there is not enough interest at this time.
