The container gardening project will be having two workshops this month.
Monday, April 15, 2024, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Valparaiso Public Library
- Bring your Container Gardening Project Packet (records sheet, rules, and the booklet on container gardening)
- Bring a pencil
- Bring a three-ringed binder with a photo sleeve on the front cover.

Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 2:45 -4:30 PM at Chesterton Feed and Garden
We will learn from the experts how to choose fruit and vegetable plant varieties that do well in containers. (At project check-in, Remember that your plants must have edible produce.) This is a great time to purchase your plants.
- Check your email for the RSVP form. Cyndi must have an estimate number by April 24, 2024, so she can let Chesterton Feed and Garden know how many to expect.
- Bring your Container Gardening Project Packet (records sheet, rules, and the booklet on container gardening)
- Bring a list of the fruit and vegetable plants you are considering for your project.
- Bring the dimensions of the container you want to use.
- Bring a pencil
- Bring money to purchase plants
